FAQ:
1) What will my candle look like after it's been burned? I get this question all of the time. The picture at the top of the page is one of my older candles that I've had in my home since 2007. As you can see, the candle pools around the wick just like any other candle when it's been burned. My candles are designed so that the art will remain on the outside edges of the candle so that you get the best of both features...you get to burn it and yet it remains decorative. And since I use primarily soy candle wax, it retains color and scent for a very long time whether it's burned or not. It's your choice...to burn or not to burn, that is the question.
2) How do I keep my candle clean? This is actually very easy to do...as you can see in the picture above, the candle is free of dust and hair; I simply run it under lukewarm water and let it dry well before lighting again.
3) Do I need to put candles that are not in a container on a plate? Yes! For instance, if you purchase a cupcake candle, you will need to place it on a fire safe plate, bowl, or cup before lighting. Make sure that you keep all candles, of any kind, away from draperies, curtains, or any other combustible material and monitor your candles while they are lit.
4) Can I get more wicks in my candle than what is pictured? YES, absolutely...no extra charge for this request.
5) I have a special, one of a kind dish that I got from my grandmother, would you make a candle for me in that dish? YES...absolutely. If it's special to you, let's make it even more special so that you can proudly show it off as part of your home décor. Let's do this together...you supply that dish and I'll supply the candle within it. Your choice of candle style puts your special flair on that special dish.:~D
After buying my candles, it is best not to store them in a space that gets too warm. This includes leaving it in your car after you've purchased it; greenhouse heating in the car is much warmer than what you might experience outside of your vehicle. If you're having your candle shipped as a gift, I do limit the times of year that I will ship for this same reason. I also will not ship them outside of the US for the same reasons as well; I simply cannot guarantee the quality of the candle in distant areas under several types of transportation outside of the country.
